The Drummondville Voltigeurs have announced that their captain, Luke Woodworth, has committed to the University of Nebraska Omaha for the 2025-26 season.

Woodworth, 20, has 37 points (7+30) across 24 games with Drummondville this season, which is on pace for a career high 98 points across a full 64 game season.

So far in his QMJHL career, the Bridgewater, NS native has picked up 231 points (64+167) across 256 games -- all with the Voltigeurs.

Notably, he captained the Voltigeurs last season to their QMJHL championship win.

During that infamous playoff run, Woodworth was second on the team in points with 24 points (7+17) across 19 games.

He is now the third Voltigeurs player to have an NCAA commitment, behind fellow overager Sam Oliver and the recently acquired Jesse Allecia.
