Maxim Schafer scored twice as Cape Breton got a key win.
Saturday was business as normal with six games across the QMJHL.
It was a pretty good day to be a road team, and Cape Breton in particular got a big win away from home against a red-hot Saint John team.

As this one started, Saint John found the opener after a pretty timid opening frame, as Olivier Groulx tapped it home after some good work in front from Jamie Glance. That gave the Sea Dogs a 1-0 lead with just 24 seconds left in the first, and they took that lead into the intermission.
From there, though, it was all Cape Breton. Maxim Schafer scored a pair in the second, which had the visitors take a one-goal lead into the third.
Aiden McCullough extended that lead early in the third on a man advantage, before Noah Jettelson put the game out of reach later on. Lucas Beckman needed to make just 16 saves to take home the victory, and finally the Eagles can have something to cheer about again.
