Newfoundland handed Baie-Comeau their ninth consecutive loss.
It was a quiet Thursday with just one QMJHL game scheduled, a matchup between a Baie-Comeau Drakkar team still looking for its first win, and a Newfoundland Regiment side that's in fantastic form.
The trends continued for each side, though the balance of play didn't necessarily represent that across the entirety of the 60 minutes.

The Drakkar have struggled on both ends of the ice this year, so a 0-0 period with the shots being 9-3 in their favour seemed like a good sign.
It would be Newfoundland who struck first, though. Louis-Francois Belanger continues his solid season with a power-play goal from the slot that got past Mathias Hernandez. That goal would stand as the only goal of the period, despite the Drakkar again dominating in the shots department, leading 15-5 in the middle frame.
In the third, the momentum would swing in the favour of the visitors, despite being up a goal. Baie-Comeau couldn't generate much momentum, and as the minutes ticked down, the 1-0 scoreline held.
It would be Belanger again who would put the game to bed with just under two minutes to go, and that would be it for this game.
Louis-Antoine Denault was stellar between the pipes for Newfoundland, making 32 saves to pick up his first shutout of the campaign.
