After leaving the Océanic just a few days ago, the Rimouski Océanic have dealt 2005-born right winger Lyam Jacques to the Drummondville Voltigeurs for a 2025 7th.
Jacques, 19, had four points (1+3) over 22 games with the Océanic this season.
He was on pace for a down year, after potting 27 points (13+14) across 65 games with the team last season.
Even though he won't be guaranteed a spot on the Memorial Cup team, as Rimouski is the tournament's host, Drummondville is no doubt one of the best second-options as they are currently first in both the league and last week's THN Power Rankings.
