The 2025 NHL draft kicks off today with 32 players who will hear their name called by NHL teams in the first round.

After two years without a QMJHL player picked, the league is expected to see up to three players for the first time since 2021.

With that being said, here are the names who could be called on the first day of the NHL draft.
