    Welcome to this edition of THN's 2025 WHL Playoffs Daily Recap. This recurring article will provide summaries of action from the WHL post-season throughout the playoffs. With the conference finals underway, let's take a peek at the East and West's respective series.

    Medicine Hat Tigers 7, Lethbridge Hurricanes 2
    Medicine Hat Leads Series 2-0

    Gavin McKenna. That is all.

    After an "underwhelming" start to the series, totaling just two points in game one, the young superstar posted five assists en route to a, well, rout of the Hurricanes. Medicine Hat dominated the special teams game, going 3/5 on the man advantage and 4/4 on the penalty kill, while Bryce Pickford had himself a game to remember. The Tigers scored all seven goals unanswered before the second intermission, but Lethbridge were able to sneak two by Harrison Meneghin in the third period courtesy of Kooper Gizowski and Anthony Wilson.
