    Welcome to this edition of THN's 2025 WHL Playoffs Daily Recap. This recurring article will provide summaries of action from the WHL post-season throughout the playoffs. Here is a look at the two games from April 30.

    Medicine Hat Tigers 5, Lethbridge Hurricanes 3
    Medicine Hat Wins Series 4-0

    The Medicine Hat Tigers are off to the 2025 WHL Final after defeating the Lethbridge Hurricanes 5-3 in Game 4. Matthew Ward's second goal of the night was the series winner, as he beat Jackson Unger on the power play 17:52 into the second period. As for the star of the game, that was Gavin McKenna, who recorded a goal and an assist, while pushing his point streak to 53 games.

    Lethbridge: Logan McCutcheon- 1 Shot
    Lethbridge: Brayden Edwards- 1 Assist
    Lethbridge: Noah Chadwick- 1 Shot

    Spokane Chiefs 8, Portland Winterhawks 5
    Spokane Leads Series 3-0

    Once again, this series produced an offensive explosion as the Spokane Chiefs defeated the Portland Winterhawks 8-5. With the win, Spokane inched closer to securing a spot in the 2025 WHL Final. Overall, there were many standouts from the game, including Will McIssac and Mathis Preston, who each recorded a goal and three assists in the victory.

    Spokane: Mathis Preston- 1 Goal, 3 Assists
    Portland: Diego Buttazzoni- 2 Goals, 1 Assist
    Portland: Josh Zakreski- 2 Goals, 1 Assist
