It has come to the end of the line for Medicine Hat, and it did not finish the way they wanted it to. The Tigers dropped a 4-1 decision to the London Knights on Sunday, ending their season as the second-best team in all of the Canadian Hockey League.

It was a solid start, as Medicine Hat jumped out to an early 10-3 lead on the shot clock, but the Knights fought back. Jacob Julien scored the first goal of the game, though the Tigers would not go down quietly.

However, the second period was not as kind. Easton Cowan doubled London's lead just three minutes in, and Denver Barkey added another almost two minutes later. Barkey would go on to make it a 4-1 lead for the Knights with about eight minutes to go in the middle frame, and with their championship hopes on the line, the Tigers wanted to make one last run. Unfortunately, while Gavin McKenna did get Medicine Hat on the board early, the Tigers were held to just four shots in the final frame.

The dominant run from the black and orange comes to a close, with new records being set throughout the year. Whether it be McKenna's ridiculous point streak, or Bryce Pickford's goal streak in the postseason, there is a ton to remember about this team and fans should be proud of what they have accomplished.
