The 2025 WHL Final has been set as the Spokane Chiefs will battle the Medicine Hat Tigers. For Medicine Hat, this marks their first appearance since 2007 where they defeated the Vancouver Giants. This also happens to be their first run past the second round since 2014, falling to the eventual WHL champions in the Edmonton Oil Kings.

When it's all said and done, both teams will have spent everything they had. In the Tigers' case, this means so much more than just Gavin McKenna. While he has been dominant all season, Medicine Hat's lineup is littered with talent at every position; from line one to four, and defensive pairs one through three. Even still, despite the team already looking stacked on paper, they may get even better. With that said, here are a few players that will make an impact for Medicine Hat this series.

Cayden Lindstrom/Andrew Basha

These two are listed as a package because at the time of writing this article, the two forwards were seen at Tigers practice as full participants. While their status has not been confirmed, fans can reasonably expect they will return at some point in the series. Lindstrom has missed the entirety of the 2024-25 season up to this point, and Basha tallied nine goals and 20 assists in 23 games this season.

The Tigers rookie has turned heads in his first full season with the team, gelling with the likes of McKenna as well as forming a rookie "super line" with Markus and Liam, the Ruck Twins. "SGC" as he has also been named, brings a quick and shifty dynamic to the ice with high upside playmaking and (to a slightly lesser extent) a nose for the net.

Tanner Molendyk

There could have been any number of defenders that go here, but Molendyk was just what the doctor ordered in Medicine Hat. A high profile player acquired from Saskatoon at the 2025 trade deadline, the Nashville Predators prospect is one of the smoothest skaters in the league and can tilt the ice as he sees fit. Molendyk has fit right in on the power play, and will continue to be a force as the series ramps up.

Harrison Meneghin

Last but certainly not least, Meneghin has been unbelievable in the face of adversity. Despite dealing with the passing of his father, the Tigers goaltender has continued to not only step in, but step up in games. A draft pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Meneghin will largely be trusted to keep the Tigers crease safe and he will do all he can to ensure it stays that way.
