It has been one week since the 2024 WHL trade deadline passed, with many players already having an impact on their new teams. From five-point performances to scoring shootout winners, it hasn't taken long for WHLers to adapt to their new surroundings. Here is a look at how players from around the league are doing since being traded.

    Matthew Savoie- Moose Jaw Warriors

Few players have had a better first game since being traded than Matthew Savoie. The Buffalo Sabres prospect recorded two goals and five points in his debut with the Moose Jaw Warriors, which led to him being named WHL Player of the Week. Alongside players like Jagger Firkus,  Denton Mateychuk and Brayden Yager, he has taken a team that was already considered a contender and made them look virtually unstoppable.

    Conor Geekie- Swift Current Broncos

Over in Swift Current, Conor Geekie is acclimating well within the Broncos organization. He has five points in three games and has won over 50% of his faceoffs in each contest. Currently sitting in fifth place in the Eastern Conference, the addition of the Arizona Coyotes prospect should help Swift Current move up the standings and secure home-ice advantage in the first round.

    Borya Valis- Prince George Cougars

Borya Valis may be one of the most underrated pickups from the deadline. He has ten points in six games since joining the Prince George Cougars and is producing constantly with points in five of those games. With Koehn Ziemmer out long term, he is fitting in nicely and should help the Cougars maintain their spot at the top of the B.C. Division.

    Alexander Suzdalev- Saskatoon Blades

Arguably, this year's most intriguing move was the Saskatoon Blades' acquiring and convincing Alexander Suzdalev to return to the WHL. It is safe to say this move has worked out well, as the Washington Capitals prospect is already up to six points through his first four games. With one of the deepest lineups in the entire CHL, good luck to whoever has to face the Blades come playoff time.

    Gracyn Sawchyn- Edmonton Oil Kings

Gracyn Sawchyn continues to impress over in Edmonton. Since being acquired by the Oil Kings, he has 11 points in nine games, which includes two game-winning goals. While Edmonton is still rebuilding, having the Florida Panthers prospect on the roster to help mentor the younger players should impact the organization's future success.
