There's nothing more we can say about Gavin McKenna, but we'll try.
Saturday night, the projected first overall pick of the 2026 NHL draft lit the Red Deer Rebels on fire, recording a point on all seven Medicine Hat Tigers goals en route to a 7-3 victory at Co-Op Place.
With this massive showing, McKenna extended his point streak to 38 games- passing Sidney Crosby (37 games) for the longest streak since the 2000-01 season.
During the streak, the young superstar has collected a grand total of 92 points and sits only behind Andrew Cristall (Spokane Chiefs) with 121 points in the 2024-25 regular season.
As for the Tigers, they get a little rest before returning to the ice on Saturday to take on the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
