The Tri-City Americans have provided a health update surrounding Terrell Goldsmith. The Americans defenseman was transported to the hospital on Tuesday night after an on-ice altercation at the start of the second period against the Seattle Thunderbirds. After Goldsmith left the ice, the game was postponed.

In a post on Wednesday, Tri-City wrote, "Terrell Goldsmith remains in hospital this morning under observation. Upon arriving at the hospital last night, he was awake, responsive and in good spirits. The Tri-City Americans appreciate the words of concern and support for Goldsmith. We will continue to update his status."

As of Wednesday morning, the WHL has not announced when the game will be rescheduled. Updates on Goldsmith's health will be made available through Tri-City and the WHL.
