
The 2025 AHL All-Star Classic is finally here. The yearly event brings together some of the best in the AHL for a skills competition as well as a tournament to see which division is the best. Like always, this year's event will feature plenty of former WHLers, which includes players who dominated the league last season.
Below is a look at which WHL alumni will be participating and for which team:
Atlantic Division:
Ethan Bear- Seattle Thunderbirds
Owen Pickering- Swift Current Broncos
Dylan Garand- Kamloops Blazers
North Division:
Trey Fix-Wolansky- Edmonton Oil Kings
Derrick Pouliot- Portland Winterhawks
Central Division:
Sebastian Cossa- Edmonton Oil Kings
Kevin Korchinski- Seattle Thunderbirds
Pacific Division:
Matthew Savoie- Winnipeg ICE, Wenatchee Wild, Moose Jaw Warriors
The 2025 AHL All-Star Classic will include the AHL All-Star Skills Competition on Sunday, February 2 (9 ET/6 PT), followed by the AHL Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Ceremony on Monday, February 3 (2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT) and the 2025 AHL All-Star Challenge that evening (9 ET/6 PT). This year's event will take place in Palm Desert, California and will be hosted by the Coachella Valley Firebirds. The weekend's events can be viewed on the AHL's streaming site and TSN.
