The 2026 CHL USA Prospects Challenge will take place on December 1 and 2.

Two WHLers have been added to Team CHL's roster for the 2026 CHL USA Prospects Challenge. The two players were among nine new additions the CHL announced on Thursday. The two new players are defenceman Brock Cripps and forward Kayden Stroeder.

Cripps was the only WHL defenceman to receive an "A" grade on NHL Central Scouting's Preliminary List for the 2027 draft. The Prince Albert Raiders defender is off to a hot start with 17 points in 14 games. Cripps played a key role for Prince Albert during their run to the WHL Final last year, posting 21 points in 20 playoff games.

As for Stroeder, he also received an "A" grade from NHL Central Scouting. The Edmonton Oil Kings forward has scored seven goals so far this year while recording 13 points in 11 games. Stroeder has 82 games of WHL experience under his belt, where he has recorded 53 points.
