The 2025 World Juniors starts on December 26, 2024.
Team Canada has announced their roster for the 2025 World Juniors. Among the 25 players named, eight are from the WHL, including Brayden Yager, who was on last year's team. Canada kicks off their 2025 World Juniors on December 26 when they take on Team Finland at the Canadian Tire Centre.
The eight WHLers are made up of four forwards, three defensemen and one goaltender. Below is a list of which players made this year's roster:
Team Canada's management group will also feature a few WHLers, including Hurricanes Peter Anholt and Portland Winterhawks Mike Johnston.
The 2025 World Juniors will take place in Ottawa from December 26, 2024, to January 5, 2025. Canada will be looking to improve on its 2024 performance, which saw it lose to Czechia in the Quarterfinals. All games from this year's tournament will be available to watch on TSN.
