Everett, Prince Albert, Medicine Hat & Penticton Named To 2025-26 CHL Top-10 Week 22 Rankings

Every week, the CHL releases a list of the top-10 teams in the league. Throughout the season, we at The Hockey News will keep track of which WHL teams are ranked and who finishes the year ranked highest. Here is a look at the three WHL teams that made the Week 22 rankings.

1. Everett Silvertips

The Everett Silvertips have held the No. 1 position for a fourth consecutive week. Following an undefeated two-game homestand, the Silvertips improved their record to 47-7-2-1. The week was highlighted by a 9-0 blowout of the Seattle Thunderbirds and a gritty 3-2 victory over the Tri-City Americans.  Carter Bear dominated the scoresheet with four goals and two assists over the two-game span.  Everett is now just three wins away from reaching the 50-win milestone for only the second time in franchise history.

2. Prince Albert Raiders

Climbing to the No. 2 spot, the Prince Albert Raiders secured a perfect four-point week with victories over the Moose Jaw Warriors and Swift Current Broncos. The Raiders have brought their season total to 93 points, keeping them in a dead heat with Everett for the Scotty Munro Memorial Trophy.  Prince Albert has been a fixture in the national rankings, appearing in the Top 10 for 19 of the 22 weeks this season.

8. Medicine Hat Tigers

The Medicine Hat Tigers hold firm in the Top 10, boasting a CHL-best 4.75 goals per game. The Tigers' offence has found another gear following the return of captain Bryce Pickford, whose defensive leadership and power-play presence have made the Tigers the most feared offensive unit in the country.

9. Penticton Vees

The Penticton Vees continue to rewrite the history books in their inaugural campaign. By securing their 36th victory of the season, the Vees have officially set a new WHL expansion record for the most wins in a debut season. They remain the team to beat in the B.C. Division as they head toward their first-ever WHL postseason.
