Firkus also leads all CHL players with 92 points this season.
The Firkus circus can not be stopped this season. With his goal against the Brandon Wheat Kings on Thursday, Jagger Firkus became the first player to record a 25-game point streak this season. The only player in the CHL to surpass the 90-point mark in 2023-24, he is also the only player in the WHL with 40+ goals and 40+ assists this year.
Firkus' streak started on Nov. 25 against the Prince Albert Raiders and has continued for 80 days. During the 25 games, he has 50 points, which would rank 51st across the WHL. He also has recorded at least one shot in all 47 games he has played, ranking 11th with 218 on the season.
The question now is how long Firkus can keep up this streak. With 16 games remaining, he has a chance to beat Connor Bedard and Logan Stankoven's point streaks of 35 games and will be looking to record the first-ever 40-game point streak since the 1996-97 season, which is the first season statistics are available on the WHL site. Based on how the Seattle Kraken prospect and Moose Jaw Warriors forward has been playing, do not be surprised if he sets the record later this season.
