The Prince Albert Raiders are headed to the 2026 WHL Playoffs. Prince Albert clinched their spot by picking up a point on Wednesday against the Calgary Hitmen. The Hitmen are the first team to punch their ticket to the post-season, and currently sit at the top of the Eastern Conference.
Prince Albert has assembled one of the deepest teams in the WHL. Daxon Rudolph is a projected top 15 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, while goaltender Michal Orsulak is the second-ranked North American goaltender. The Raiders also did a good job of adding drafted talent at the deadline, as they acquired both Braeden Coote and Brandon Gorzynski.
So far this season, Prince Albert has a record of 37-7-5-0. They rank second in the league and only trail the Everett Silvertips by three points. The Raiders have now clinched a spot in the playoffs for the third-straight season and have lifted the Ed Chynoweth Cup twice in franchise history.
