The Prince Albert Raiders are division champions once again.
After an intense affair with the Saskatoon Blades on Saturday, the Raiders edge out their blue and yellow adversaries for the top spot in the East division.
Cooper Williams opened the scoring for the Blades, after a dogged effort from David Lewandowski. Harrison Lodewyk would then respond for Prince Albert late in the first, with a terrific shot over the shoulder of Evan Gardner.
The Raiders would then get a couple more, courtesy of Aiden Oiring and youngster Ty Meunier, but the Blades were not going down without a fight. Hunter Laing and Hayden Harsanyi both tallied one to tie the game at three halfway through the third period, but Lukas Dragicevic put home his 18th of the season with three minutes left to put Prince Albert ahead for the second and final time.
The Raiders are now locked into a round one brawl with the Edmonton Oil Kings, and Saskatoon awaits their opponent as that will be decided by Sunday's matchup between the Medicine Hat Tigers and the Calgary Hitmen.
