Who's Haus? Daniel's Haus.
Daniel Hauser now stands alone at the top of the WHL, picking up his 123rd career victory in a Wednesday night matchup over the Red Deer Rebels. Hauser made 21 stops in the 5-1 win, and passes former Saskatoon Blades netminder Nolan Maier for the league record.
The now-Hitmen goaltender started his career in Winnipeg with the now-defunct ICE, then stuck with the team as they moved to Wenatchee and became the Wild. Hauser was dealt at the 2025 trade deadline, where he has picked up 20 wins in 24 games with the Hitmen.
"Huge credit to his longevity and his consistency, to win that many games is an impressive achievement." says Hitmen head coach Paul McFarland, singing Hauser's praises as he has taken the starting goalie role in Calgary and run wild with it.
As an aside, Hauser also took an unconventional piece of memorabilia with him on his way out: a chunk of the net.
