The Prince George Cougars are once again playoff-bound. Prince George clinched their spot in the 2025 WHL Playoffs after a commanding 5-2 victory over the Kelowna Rockets. The Cougars have now qualified for the postseason in five straight seasons and will be looking to make it back to the Western Conference Final.

Prince George is the fourth team in the west and the seventh team to qualify for this year's playoffs. They have 33 wins and 72 points through 58 games and are battling with the Victoria Royals for the B.C. Division crown. If the season ended on Wednesday night, the Cougars would match up against the Portland Winterhawks, which is the same team they battled in last year's Western Final.

This year's edition of Prince George's roster features plenty of talent. They are led by Riley Heidt, Terik Parascak, Koehn Ziemmer and Borya Valis up front, as well as Viliam Kmec, who has developed into one of the top import defensemen in the league. As for in net, Joshua Ravensbergen continues to show why he is a top prospect, as he is 29-11-4 so far this season.
