The Western Hockey League is headed back to the Territories.
Accounced by the WHL on Tuesday, the Kelowna Rockets and Medicine Hat Tigers will do battle in Gavin McKenna's home of Whitehorse, Y.T. from September 11-14. The two teams will play two pre-season games, both at Takhini Arena. This marks the first time the league has ventured this far north since February of 2011, where the Kamloops Blazers defeated the Vancouver Giants by a score of 3-2.
