The Kelowna Rockets and the Medicine Hat Tigers named their captains for the 2024-25 season.
The Kelowna Rockets and Medicine Hat Tigers have selected their captains for the 2024-25 season. The Tigers selected Oasiz Wiesblatt, while the Rockets chose Max Graham to wear the C. While Medicine Hat hasn't officially named which players will wear an A, the Rocket have, selecting Caden Price and forwards Tij Iginla and Andrew Cristall.
Wiesblatt has played his entire 222-game WHL career with the Tigers. In 63 games last season, he set new career highs in both assists (65) and points (91). So far this year, Wiesblatt has a goal and an assist in four games.
As for Graham, he has played four of his five seasons with Kelowna. During the 2023-24 season, he recorded 42 points in 67 games. After the season concluded, Graham was drafted by the New Jersey Devils, going 139th overall in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.
