
The Calgary Flames have selected Cole Reschny 18th overall in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. The 18-year-old was the fifth WHLer selected and the second defender drafted. Listed at 5'10", 187 lbs, Reschny exploded offensively and put scouts on notice with his playmaking skills.
Nearly doubling his previous season's total with 92 points, the Macklin, Sask. native posted 66 assists and earned himself a commitment at the University of North Dakota for the 2025-26 season.
