Cameron Schmidt has recorded 250 regular-season points during his WHL career.
Cameron Schmidt is the newest member of the 250-point club. The Victoria Royals winger hit the milestone on Friday night thanks to an assist on Ludovic Perreault's second-period goal. Schmidt has played 203 career regular-season games, in which he has scored 128 goals and recorded 122 assists.
There are few forwards in the WHL who can fire the puck like Schmidt. The 19-year-old led the league in goals last season, as he scored 51 while playing for the Vancouver Giants and Seattle Thunderbirds. Schmidt was initially drafted seventh overall by the Giants in 2022 and is the highest-scoring player from his draft class.
Schmidt has already been drafted into the NHL. The Dallas Stars selected him 94th overall in 2025. Based on his production, Schmidt will be a name to watch for Canada's 2027 World Juniors team.
