Northeastern's Jules Constantinople was named the Hockey East Defender of the Year for the 2025-26 women's hockey season, while Boston College's Emma Conner was named Best Defensive Forward.

Hockey East announced a pair of major individual awards including Defender of the Year and Defensive Forward of the Year.

Northeastern's Jules Constantinople was named the 2025-26 Hockey East women's hockey Defender of the Year. She's among national leaders in blocked shots. The East Haven, Connecticut product also recorded career highs in goals, assists, and points notching six goals and 22 points in 34 games to date.

The defender suited up this summer as a member of USA's Collegiate Select team in a series against Canada's national development team.

Boston College fifth year player Emma Conner, who transferred to the program this season after four years with the University of Minnesota, was named the Hockey East Defensive Forward of the Year. She leads all Hockey East players with 73 blocked shots, and has a +12 rating. 

Conner, a center from Edina, Minnesota, also had career highs in points with eight goals and 22 points in 34 games.

The conference also announced the six players named to their All-Rookie Team. Those players included Maxim Tremblay, Madelyn Murphy, Violet Carroll, Nina Rossi, Styker Zablocki, and Ava Thomas.

Vermont fifth-year Anna Podein was also honored with Hockey East's sportsmanship award after committing just one penalty in each of the last three seasons and just six across her five-year career.
