    Host Switzerland has named their roster for the first stop on the Women's Euro Hockey Tour slated to open August 28 in Kloten. 

    In net the Swiss return the same pair from 2025 World Championships in Andrea Brändli (Frölunda), and Saskia Maurer (SC Bern). Brändli has established herself as an elite goaltender internationally.

    On the blueline Lara Christen (SC Bern), Alena Lynn Rossel (SC Bern), Nicole Vallario (EV Zug), and Stefanie Wetli (SC Bern) will form the veteran core. They'll be supported by teens Alizée Aymon (SC Bern) and  Laure Mériguet (Genève Servette) and 20-year-olds Annic Büchi (EV Zug) and  Elena Gaberell (EV Zug).

    Up front, Boston Fleet forward Alina Müller and longtime Swiss captain Lara Stalder (EV Zug) will drive the attack. The duo have been Switzerland's top players for the past decade. Müller was recently named the Swiss Hockey Woman of the Year for the fifth time in her career. The other nominees were Stalder and Sinja Leemann (SC Bern), who will be counted upon offensively as well, as will veteran Rahel Enzler (EV Zug), who was a finalist for the PostFinance League MVP.

    Rounding out Switzerland's forward group are Leoni Balzer (HC Davos) Lena-Marie Lutz (Ambri-Piotta), Alina Marti (EV Zug), Kaleigh Quennec (SC Bern), Noemi Ryhner (EV Zug), Lisa Rüedi (ZSC Lions), Vanessa Schaefer (University of British Columbia), Ivana Wey (EV Zug), and Laura Zimmermann (St. Cloud University).

    Switzerland opens their tournament on the 28th against Sweden while Finland plays Czechia in the other game of the day.
