PWHL Las Vegas has added veteran experience to its forward group, signing Maureen Murphy to a one-year contract.

PWHL Las Vegas completed its Phase 3 of expansion by adding veteran presence to the team's forward group with the signing of Maureen Murphy to a one-year Standard Player Agreement.

Murphy, who was drafted by the Montréal Victoire in the inaugural PWHL Draft, amassed 29 points through 73 regular-season games and added eight more in 16 career postseason games, including three this year, en route to the organization's first Walter Cup.

With the signing, PWHL Las Vegas reunites Murphy with teammates Erin Ambrose and Hayley Scamurra, along with Nicole Hensley, Mae Batherson, Kendall Cooper and Megan Carter, who also joined the club during Phase 3 of expansion. Hilary Knight remains listed on the roster, but is expected to be traded.

This signing brings the team to the required eight players upon the completion of Phase 3 of the league's Expansion Player Distribution Process. Next up for each organization is Phase 4, another two-day signing window for expansion teams, which begins on June 14 at 12:00 pm EST
