Both Bordeleau and Mukhamadullin have yet to play this season due to injuries

The San Jose Sharks announced they have assigned forward Thomas Bordeleau and defenseman Shakir Mukhamadullin to their AHL affiliate San Jose Barracuda.
Both players have yet to play this season due to injuries, Mukhamadullin recently re-joined Sharks practice. Bordeleau has been skating on his own.
A second round selection of the Sharks in 2020, Bordeleau recorded 25 points in 35 games for the Barracuda last season and 11 points in 27 games with the Sharks.
Mukhamadullin was a first round selection by the New Jersey Devils in 2020, he was traded to San Jose in the Timo Meier deal.
The 22-year-old notched one assist in three games with the Sharks and 34 points in 55 games with the Barracuda last season.
This move will give both players a chance to play key roles in the AHL and work their way back into shape after their injuries. Both should get an opportunity to play with the Sharks at some point this season.
The Barracuda have a 3-1 record two weeks into the AHL season and will benefit from two skilled players joining the team.
