Breaking down the brand new NHL 24 HUT event
There's a new HUT event in NHL 24, HUT Elites, which features a 94 overall Auston Matthews card.
It will cost five HUT Elite collectibles to exchange for one of the six power-up HUT Elite players. You can exchange three collectibles for a random week one power-up player, but we don't recommend doing that.
It will cost 21 power-up collectibles to get these cards from 84 to 93.
Let's take a look at the MSP cards along with the week one objectives.

HUT Elites Week 1 Objectives:
- Play 10 games in Rivals/HC/SB
- Win 10 games in Rivals/HC/SB
- Perform 40 dekes with any HUT Elites player item (Rivals/HC/SB)
- Take 50 wrist shots with any HUT Elites player item (Rivals/HC/SB)
- Score 100 goals with any HUT Elites player item (Rivals/HC/SB)
- Complete 50 games in Rivals/SB/Champs with 1 or more HUT Elites items
- Complete 80 games in Rivals/SB/Champs with 1 or more HUT Elites items
- Complete 100 games in Rivals/SB/Champs with 1 or more HUT Elites items
- Open 8 daily reward packs
Completing all nine objectives will earn you two power-up collectibles.
HUT Elites Matthews Ultimate Objectives:
- Score 40 goals with any HUT Elite Matthews
- Get 46 assists with any HUT Elite Matthews
- Take 278 shots with any HUT Elite Matthews
- Make 150 dekes with any HUT Elite Matthews
Completing all four objectives will earn you a HUT Elites Auston Matthews collectible. You need five of those collectibles to upgrade his card from 93 to 94 overall.
