The Bruins could be in the mix for this Jets forward.

After another impressive season, Tyler Toffoli is expected to test the free-agent market instead of re-signing with the Winnipeg Jets. It is understandable, as he should land a nice payday.

The Fourth Period listed several teams who will shop for scoring wingers this offseason and could target Toffoli. The Boston Bruins, without much surprise, made the cut.

The Fourth Period also reported that the Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks would surely pursue Toffoli. They later noted the Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Washington Capitals could also be in the mix because they need scoring.

It would not be surprising if the Bruins made a big push to sign Toffoli this offseason. GM Don Sweeney likes the player, as the Bruins have been connected to him in the past

If signed, Toffoli, 32, would be a massive addition to the Bruins' top six. This is because he is a consistent 30-goal threat who also provides some physicality along with it. Players like that are always hot commodities in free agency.

If the Bruins landed Toffoli, he would be a precise fit on their second line with playmaking winger Brad Marchand. In addition, he would give their power play a nice jolt because of his scoring ability.

Toffoli appeared in 79 games this season, split between the New Jersey Devils and Jets, posting 33 goals, 55 points, and 75 hits.
