David Pastrnak showed courage by fighting Matthew Tkachuk.
Game 2 was a complete nightmare for the Boston Bruins, as they fell to the Florida Panthers by a 6-1 final score. The Original Six club's effort was poor, and they must bounce back at home for Game 3 to reclaim their series lead.
While this contest was awful for the Bruins, it did have a nice highlight. Superstar forward David Pastrnak showed great courage late in the game, dropping the gloves with Panthers pest Matthew Tkachuk.
Pastrnak, 27, is certainly not known for fighting, but he still dropped the gloves with an experienced fighter in Tkachuk. It was great to see No. 88 stand up for himself, especially with the Bruins already being down by a 6-1 score at that juncture of the contest.
While Pastrnak did not dominate his fight against Tkachuk, it is hard not to respect him for taking on Tkachuk. Tkachuk, on the other hand, threw some late punches at Pastrnak when he was already down, which goes against the code. This naturally made Pastrnak get some in afterward as well.
Game 3 should be very entertaining between these two rivals.
