The Boston Bruins snapped their five-game losing streak with their 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on March 1. Bruins star David Pastrnak played a significant role in the win, as he scored the game-opening goal and recorded an assist on Mason Lohrei's first-period goal.

With this strong performance, Pastrnak has extended his ongoing point streak to 17 games. Over that span, No. 88 has 15 goals and 33 points. This is simply incredible production from the superstar forward.

With Pastrnak extending his point streak to 17 games, he has made NHL history. According to NHL Public Relations, he now has the longest point streak by a Czechia-born player in NHL history, passing Jaromir Jagr (16 games in 2000-01) and Robert Lang (16 games in 2003-04).

This is a very impressive stat from Pastrnak, and it shows just how special his dominating play is right now. He is also climbing up the Bruins' record book, as he is now tied with Ray Bourque (1984-85) for the eighth-longest point streak in franchise history. Let's see if Pasta can pass No. 77 in the Bruins' next matchup against the Minnesota Wild on March 2 from here.
