The Bruins could use a top-six winger, so let's go over three possible options.
It is quite clear that the Boston Bruins could use another proper top-six winger. It is a reason why their offense has been inconsistent this season, and they never found a legitimate replacement for the red-hot Jake DeBrusk.
Because of this, let's go over three star wingers who the Bruins could consider making a push for.
The struggling New York Rangers have let the league know they are ready to shake up their roster. They already traded their former captain, Jacob Trouba, to the Anaheim Ducks. Chris Kreider has been made available. Given the Bruins' need for an impactful scorer, the Boxford, Massachusetts native could be a perfect addition for Boston.

Kreider, 33, has appeared in 25 games this season, where he has 10 goals and an assist. He also scored at least 36 goals over his previous three campaigns, including a career-high 52 goals during the 2021-22 season.
NHL insider Elliotte Friedman wrote near the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline that he believed the Bruins were one of the teams who expressed interest in Buffalo Sabres star Alex Tuch. Given the Bruins' need for an impactful right winger, he would make sense as a target again.

Tuch, 28, is having a strong season with the Sabres, posting eight goals, 24 points, 24 hits, and a plus-8 rating in 29 contests. The ice-cold Sabres were not open to trading him last season, but if they are more open to listening to offers for him this campaign, he would be a perfect target for the Bruins.
Kyle Palmieri is another intriguing option for the Bruins. The 33-year-old winger is in the final season of his contract with a struggling New York Islanders club, so he could be made available this season. If he is, Boston would be smart to target him.

Palmieri has had an excellent 2024-25 season thus far, posting 11 goals and 23 points in 30 contests. This is after he had 30 goals and 54 points in 82 games with the Islanders last season, so he is clearly an impactful scorer.
