The Bruins should look to improve this area on their roster.

The Boston Bruins have had mixed results this season, as their 15-13-3 record shows. In addition, they are in the middle of another rough stretch, as they have lost each of their last two games, where they were outscored 13-2. 

With this, it is apparent that the Bruins still have some serious problems with their roster. One specific need they must address is adding another top-six center.

The Bruins spent big bucks this off-season on Elias Lindholm, signing him to a seven-year, $54.25 million contract. So far, the 30-year-old has struggled in Boston, posting just three goals and 10 assists in his first 31 games. Thus, it is clear that the Bruins still need a major boost down the middle. 

When looking at potential center targets around the NHL, players like Brock Nelson (New York Islanders), Trevor Zegras (Anaheim Ducks), Dylan Cozens (Buffalo Sabres) and Mikael Granlund (San Jose Sharks) stand out.

If the Bruins are unable to score a top-six center before the deadline, next summer's free agency class could offer some interesting options. Nelson, Granlund, Matt Duchene (Dallas Stars), and Claude Giroux (Ottawa Senators) are among the NHL's top pending unrestricted free-agent centers.
