During the 2023 NHL Offseason, the Boston Bruins' limited cap space made them go bargain shopping in free agency. One move they made was signing Morgan Geekie to a two-year, $4 million contract.
Following the move, Geekie was considered a potential breakout candidate for the Bruins. He had just posted career highs in goals (nine), assists (18), and points (28) in 69 games for the Seattle Kraken in 2022-23. Fast-forward to March, and it's safe to say that he has taken a big step forward with his play.

Geekie, 25, has become a strong part of the Bruins' top nine due to his solid offensive contributions. In 63 games on the season, he has 16 goals, 34 points, and a plus-8 rating. Along with that, he has been on fire as of late, posting six goals and an assist over his last nine games.
As the season has gone on, Geekie has become more impactful and is starting to be a complete steal for the Bruins. Besides getting his offensive production up, his all-around game has improved, too.
Now, Geekie's goal will be to finish what has already been a career season for him on a strong note. When looking at how well he has been playing lately, he should have zero trouble doing so.
