The Florida Panthers fans added insult to injury during the Boston Bruins' opening night loss.

The Boston Bruins' opening night is one that they probably wish they could take back. The Original Six club lost to the Florida Panthers by a 6-4 final score and were significantly outplayed.
When the Bruins were down 5-1 during the second period, Panthers fans not only mocked the Original Six club but also Bruins star goalie Jeremy Swayman.
"We want Swayman" chants were shouted by the Panthers faithful.
Swayman, of course, did not start for the Bruins in the club's season opener, as he just signed his new contract a few days ago. As a result, Bruins newcomer Joonas Korpisalo was between the pipes for Boston. However, as the Panthers fans made it clear, they wanted Swayman in the net when this contest got ugly for Boston.

The Bruins and Panthers will face off again on Oct. 14. Panthers fans are likely to get their wish for this matchup, as there is a good chance that Swayman will start for the Bruins.
