The Bruins are getting a boost for Game 4.
The Boston Bruins are gearing up for a must-win Game 4 against the Florida Panthers. A loss would put them down 3-1 in the series and significantly lower their chances of advancing to the Eastern Conference Final.
The Bruins were dealt awful news earlier Sunday, as Brad Marchand was officially ruled out for Game 4. The superstar forward took a punch to the head from Panthers forward Sam Bennett in Game 3 and left the contest before the start of the third.
While Marchand being out is certainly bad news for the Bruins, they are also thankfully getting a boost in their lineup for this matchup. Danton Heinen participated in warmup before puck drop, indicating that he's good to go.
Heinen is expected to slot on the Bruins' second line with Charlie Coyle and Trent Frederic.
Danton HeinenHeinen has not played since April 30 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Bruins have missed them in their lineup, so it is good news that he is returning to the lineup. From here, let's see if the skilled winger can make an impact during the matchup.
