It is time for the Bruins to give this prospect a chance.

Should the Bruins trade for Trevor Zegras?

This season, the Boston Bruins have recalled several forwards from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Providence Bruins. These include Georgii Merkulov, Jeffrey Viel, Patrick Brown, Marc McLaughlin, and Riley Tufte

However, while the Bruins have given their AHL players chances this season, top prospect Fabian Lysell has yet to get his recall. Given the Bruins' offensive struggles and weakness at the right wing position, they ought to change that and give Lysell a look on the NHL roster.

Lysell, 21, currently has three goals and eight points in his first 16 games this season with Providence. While his numbers are a bit down to start the season, he has been trending in the right direction as of late. Over his last five games, the 2021 first-round pick has two goals and four points.

Lysell could be an interesting option to try out on the Bruins' third line with Trent Frederic and Charlie Coyle. However, it would also be intriguing to see what he could do on the club's second line with Brad Marchand and Elias Lindholm

With the Bruins' offensive struggles continuing, they should consider giving Lysell his first regular-season shot on the NHL roster. Perhaps the promising youngster could provide them with a much-needed boost.
