Jakub Lauko's time with the Bruins has come to an end.

The Boston Bruins have traded forward Jakub Lauko and the No. 122 pick to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for forward Vinni Lettieri and pick No. 110, which they have since used to select defenseman Elliott Groenewold.

Lauko was a solid part of the Bruins' forward depth this past season, posting two goals, 10 points, 32 penalty minutes, and 176 hits in 62 games. Overall, he provided plenty of physicality and energy to the Bruins' bottom six, and now he will look to do the same for the Wild.

Lettieri, 29, played in 46 games this season with the Wild, recording five goals and four assists. He also played in 10 games for the Iowa Wild of the AHL, where he had four goals and four assists.

Lettieri previously played for the Bruins in 2022-23, appearing in one NHL game for the club. He also played in 48 games for the Providence Bruins that season, where he had 23 goals and 49 points.

While Lettieri is a decent depth forward for the Bruins to bring back, they should also look to replace Lauko with another feisty forward.
