The Vancouver Canucks will have several former Boston Bruins players on their roster next season.

The Boston Bruins had several departures from last season's roster this summer. Interestingly, a pretty decent chunk of them moved on to the Vancouver Canucks.
Jake DeBrusk, Danton Heinen, and Derek Forbort are all now Canucks and have the potential to be critical parts of their lineup during the 2024-25 campaign.
DeBrusk, 27, was the Canucks' big splash of the summer. The Canucks inked him to a seven-year, $38.5 million contract, and the expectation is that he will be a long-term part of their top six. Given his skill and offense, he should be an impactful addition to Vancouver.

Heinen, 29, cashed in on his strong bounce-back season with the Bruins, earning a two-year, $4.5 million contract with the Canucks this summer. He should have a spot in their top nine, especially when noting how versatile a player he is.
As for Forbort, the 6-foot-4 defender will look to have a bounce-back campaign with the Canucks. This past season with the Bruins was tough for him, as injury trouble kept him out of the lineup more often than not. When healthy, he is a strong bottom-pairing shutdown defender and works on the penalty kill.

While the Canucks clearly love former Bruins players, Boston appears to love Vancouver's as well. The Bruins, of course, brought in Elias Lindholm and Nikita Zadorov this offseason as their big splashes of the summer. Both players were dealt to the Canucks by the Calgary Flames in separate trades last season and were solid during their playoff run. Due to this, all fans from both clubs must watch Nov. 26's contest between the 2011 Stanley Cup Final opponents. It should be a good one.
