

Former Boston Bruins and current Philadelphia Flyers forward Garnet Hathaway will be losing some money, as he has been fined $2,000 for embellishment.
Coincidentally, the event that led to Hathaway receiving this fine occurred against the Bruins on March 23. After being tangled up with Bruins defenseman Andrew Peeke, Hathaway fell to the ice. Peeke was not penalized on the play. A link to the event can be found here.
Hathaway, 32, received a warning for embellishment back on Jan. 2 against the Edmonton Oilers this season. Due to this being his embellishment citation of the season, Hathaway was handed this $2,000 fine.
Garnet HathawayHathaway has appeared in 74 games this season with the Flyers, where he has seven goals, seven assists, 120 penalty minutes, and 294 hits.
In 25 games as a rental for the Bruins last season, Hathaway had four goals, six points, and 70 hits.
