This former Bruins star had an impressive night against the Rangers.
The Chicago Blackhawks snapped their five-game losing streak on Monday (Dec. 9), defeating the New York Rangers by a 2-1 final score.
Former Boston Bruins forward Taylor Hall played a big role in the Blackhawks' win, as he had an excellent night for Chicago. The 2010 first-overall pick recorded an assist and scored the Blackhawks' game-winning goal.

Hall showed off his all-around skill by setting up fellow former Bruin Tyler Bertuzzi's goal. Hall picked off Mika Zibanejad's pass attempt behind the Rangers' net and stickhandled to open space. From there, he sent a perfect feed across the offensive zone to Bertuzzi, where the scrappy forward fired it home.
Hall's goal was just as nice, too. After receiving a feed from Connor Bedard on a two-on-one, Hall dangled and slid the puck past Rangers star goalie Igor Shesterkin.
With this strong performance, Hall now has six goals and 12 points in 27 games. While he has had a slow start to the campaign, a game like this is undoubtedly a great step in the right direction.
