Should the Bruins trade for Trevor Zegras?

In his most recent trade board for The Athletic, NHL insider Chris Johnston listed former Boston Bruins forward Taylor Hall at the No. 4 spot.

Hall has been creating plenty of chatter in the rumor mill, and this only escalated after the Chicago Blackhawks scratched him. He is also in the final season of his deal, and the Blackhawks are struggling, so he is standing out as a prime rental candidate.

Hall has had a tough start to the season, as he has two goals, four assists, and a minus-6 rating in 19 games. The veteran winger has had trouble finding his fit with the Blackhawks, and a change of scenery could benefit the 2010 first-overall pick.

While Hall has been off to a rough start this season, he should generate interest as we get closer to the deadline. He could be a big-time addition for a playoff club looking to boost their middle six and power play.

The Bruins know well how much of an impact Hall can make. During his three-season stint as a Bruin, he had 44 goals and 111 points. The Bruins could certainly use production like that right now, but Hall's $6 million cap hit would be tricky for them to take on.
