Sam Bennett clearly loves being the villain of the series.
Florida Panthers forward Sam Bennett is getting a lot of hate from Boston Bruins fans. It is entirely understandable, as the agitator injured Bruins captain Brad Marchand with a sucker punch and did not receive any discipline from the NHL for it. Marchand, on the other hand, is now sidelined with an upper-body injury.

Since the hit, Bennett has only become more hated by Bruins fans. In Game 4, he scored the game-tying goal, which should not have counted. Bennett hit Charlie Coyle into Jeremy Swayman and then took advantage by putting it into the open goal. Shockingly, the NHL did not deem it as goalie interference.
Given all of the heat that Bennett has been getting, TNT naturally asked him about it. Bennett managed to stir the pot even further:
"It was pretty awesome. I've never got booed before I don’t think, so it was a new experience that I, I kind of enjoyed it. It made the game that much more intense, much more exciting for me. So, yeah, bring it on.”
Bennett is clearly loving being the villain of this series. It will be interesting to see how the Bruins respond to his comments from here.
