Former Buffalo Sabres forward Sam Reinhart is having an outstanding 2023-24 season with the Florida Panthers. It has come at the perfect time, too, as the 28-year-old is a pending UFA. Thus, he will be getting a big payday, whether that is from the Panthers or another team in free agency.
Sam ReinhartReinhart's magical season got even better last night against the Philadelphia Flyers, as the 2014 second-overall pick scored his 50th goal of the season. He potted two goals an assist on the night.
Reinhart is now just the second player in the Panthers' history to score 50 goals in a season. The only other player to do it was Hall of Famer Pavel Bure (1999-00 and 2000-01). Bure currently holds the Cats' single-season record with 59.
It has been a year to remember for Reinhart, and his goal is to end it on a high note. After his three-point night, Reinhart now has 50 goals and 83 points in 71 games this season.
