The Buffalo Sabres currently have a 4-5-1 record. While they are under .500, they are trending in the right direction, having won three out of their last four games.

Now, it appears that the Sabres are already looking to make some moves.

In his most recent 32 Thoughts column, NHL insider Elliotte Friedman revealed that Sabres general manager Kevyn Adams is aiming to add to the club's roster. Here is what he said on the matter:

"One of the more active early-season general managers is Buffalo’s Kevyn Adams, but he’s made it clear he does not wish to subtract. He’s trying to add."

It is not surprising that Adams is already actively browsing the trade market. The Sabres' goal is to break their 13-year playoff drought this year, and it is clear that they have some areas that could use improvement. A top-six winger should be their biggest priority, but they could also use more depth in general.

We will now need to wait and see if the Sabres pull off a move soon.
