This Sabres defenseman got injured vs. the Red Wings.

The Buffalo Sabres suffered a devastating 3-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday (April 7). With this loss, they are now five points behind the Red Wings for the final wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. So, their slim playoff hopes have been negatively impacted significantly.
This game was tough for the Sabres in more than one way, however, Defenseman Jacob Bryson left the game early after taking an accidental high stick from Tyson Jost
These kinds of accidents are the worst, and it's hard not to feel concerned about Bryson. The hope now is that it isn't too severe of an injury and that he can return to action.
If Bryson is forced to miss time, the Sabres will need to replace him in the lineup. Kale Clague is an option, but the Sabres could also consider recalling rookie Ryan Johnson from the Rochester Americans.
Bryson, 26, has appeared in 30 games this season for the Sabres, posting one goal, eight points, and a plus-5 rating.
