Sabres head coach Don Granato has provided an injury update for Owen Power.

During the Buffalo Sabres' practice yesterday (Feb. 12), defenseman Owen Power left early due to an undisclosed injury and had an MRI. Naturally, hearing that the young defenseman suffered an injury was concerning, and now we have a better idea of how long he will be out.
While on the WGR 550 earlier today (Feb. 13), Sabres head coach Don Granato shared that Power will miss at least a week of action due to his injury, as relayed by NHL insider Elliotte Friedman.
Power, 21, has appeared in all 51 of the Sabres' games so far this season, where he has two goals, 18 points, and a plus-3 rating. Now, with this news, he is set to miss at least a handful of the Sabres' next games.

With Power set to miss some time, the Sabres will now need to make adjustments to their defensive group. Here's to hoping that he has a speedy recovery and does not suffer any setbacks along the way.
