This Sabres forward could be dealt by the trade deadline.

The Buffalo Sabres' playoff hopes are quite low. Because of this, the expectation is that they will sell off some of their pending UFAs. The Sabres who have generated the most trade chatter because of this are Erik Johnson, Kyle Okposo, Victor Olofsson, and Zemgus Girgensons.
While it makes sense that these four are being viewed as trade candidates, there's another Sabre who stands a shot of being traded before the deadline passes – forward Eric Robinson.

Robinson, 28, was acquired by the Sabres back in December of this season for a conditional seventh-round pick from the Columbus Blue Jackets. While he has not been with the club long, there is a chance he gets dealt, as he is a pending UFA and could be a decent rental for a playoff team needing more forward depth.
Robinson has appeared in 29 games this season, split between Buffalo and Columbus, where he has two goals and seven points. While he has struggled a bit offensively, he has been as impactful as ever when it comes to his physicality, posting 55 hits. This element of his game could make him a decent fourth-liner or 13th forward for a contender.
Another element about Robinson's game that could lead to interest in his services is his defensive play. He has had success on the penalty kill throughout his career.
Some teams who could consider taking a flier on Robinson include the New Jersey Devils, Colorado Avalanche, and Florida Panthers.
